Dimension joins Journey

Dimension is now a part of Journey - the multidimensional experience agency. We’re really excited to become a part of the group of companies that sit under the Journey banner and are happy to have the opportunity to scale our combined capabilities across design, media, and next-generation production.
The acquisition of Dimension by Journey is an integral step in our vision to reimagine design and production across multiple mediums, and to forge lasting value for audiences and partners alike. It will allow us to invest more in the technology platform that we use to deliver boundary-pushing content to so many media producers and production companies all over the world. And the partnership not just with Journey but the other studios across their portfolio, means we are uniquely positioned to deliver game-changing shows and productions at scale on the global stage.
Dimension will continue to focus on what we do best; delivering awesome work for our existing clients and partners, and there are no plans to change how we do that. Co-CEOs Steve Jelley and Simon Windsor, and CTO Callum Macmillan will continue to run the studio as they have done up until this point.
Commenting on the deal, Steve said: “Dimension is a trusted partner and co-producer for filmmakers everywhere, helping them to embrace the creative potential of Real-time, virtual and AI production technologies. It provides opportunities for everyone to expand those partnerships to deliver amazing experiences in any medium.”
Simon said: “This partnership is as much about people as it is about virtual production and technology. Journey’s design-led ethos aligns perfectly with our culture of creative experimentation and production innovation. Together, we can empower clients and visionary creators to tell stories in ways the world has never seen.”
