Production Visualisation at Production Summit LA
Find us amongst film industry movers and shakers at Production Summit LA on Thursday 3rd August for a first look at our new real-time movie simulation tool - virtual production visualisation.
Virtual Production Visualisation - A New Tool for Real-Time Movie Simulation
This demo introduces Production Visualisation - an efficient new real-time sandbox from DNEG Virtual Production. The tool empowers filmmakers with early simulation of scene, performance and shot creation, enabling them to visualise their film at a early stage of production, and to plan complex production processes such as virtual production, dynamic action, zero gravity, and complex VFX sequences.
Using rapid world-building, MetaHumans, performance capture and virtual cameras, our multi-disciplinary team helps the filmmaker to explore their vision at the earliest stage through to production. The director, director of photography, production designer and stunt coordinator come together in real time in Unreal Engine, where they can review and make decisions on sequences, establish scene blocking, create their shots and camera moves and most importantly, workshop their film with their actors and stunt performers.
This visualisation can continue throughout production into on-set virtual production and the vfx pipeline, providing a consistent, flexible and accessible creative path to follow as the production grows in scale. Join us for this exclusive first demo of our new production visualisation tool.
The demo will be presented by a team from DNEG Virtual Production, a joint venture between Dimension and DNEG.
WHO: Hosted by Callum Macmillan, Head of Technology for DNEG Virtual Production and CTO at Dimension, and Joe Statham, Virtual Production Supervisor at DNEG
WHERE: XRM Media Studios | Los Angeles, Burbank
