How we're making Glastonbury’s Terminal 1 installation more accessible

June 23, 2025

In order to make Terminal 1 accessible for guests with mobility needs, Terminal 1 & Glastonbury Accessibility have partnered with Dimension Studio to bring the experience to life via an immersive VR 180 experience complete with spatial audio.

Anyone with an accessibility wristband can enjoy the experience at the building's entrance where it’s available via Meta Quest 3 VR headsets. The digital version of the situationist artwork is being created by Dimension Live – our team  who specialise in real-time content production and services for live and immersive events and experiences.

Our team will be on site the day before the experience opens to the public, shooting a point of view of the full experience using the Canon R5ii camera and VR 180 5.2mm fisheye lens. Shooting in 8K at 60fps we will deliver a fully immersive POV of the Terminal 1 experience. We'll then turn the media processing and edit around quickly to make the digital experience available for guests from day one.

“We’re proud to support Terminal 1 and contribute in making Glastonbury the most accessible ever. Our team are experts in virtual experiences and we’re excited to see our work allow all audiences to experience Terminal 1 and its important message”
