Sam Smith x Spotify Diamonds AR

For single 'Diamonds', Sam Smith collaborated with Powster and Spotify for three-dimensional AR artwork that allowed fans to engage in an unprecedented way.

Solution

Dimension created a volumetric version of megastar Sam Smith to feature in a special dual-phone Spotify Canvas version of their Diamonds video, with fans able to view the star from all angles and interact to release a shower of on-screen diamonds.

Result

The "Diamonds" experience is the first to use 8th Wall's image target augmented reality technology to trigger and track multiple volumetric video captures, creating a truly holographic experience.
